Manchester City – Leicester City

Manchester City hosts Leicester City at the Etihad in a fixture from the third round of the Premier League. Let’s preview it because we expect some interesting action in this game.

Manchester City debuted with a win in the Premier League for the new season. Pep Guardiola’s boys had a tough visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but they managed to snatch a 3-1 win. Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden scored in the first half while Gabriel Jesus added one more in the injury time of the game.

Man City’s fans now expect a second win on Sunday. The way Liverpool started the new season shows that the current champions are motivated to keep their crown. This means that Manchester City should expect another tough fight for the gold medals.

Sergio Aguero is still sidelined for Manchester City while Eric Garcia, Joao Cancelo and Ilkay Gundogan are sidelined as well. Pep Guardiola must build his line-up for the next game without these players.

Leicester City are perfect so far in the league – two wins from two matches played. So far the Foxes are showing their solid performance during the previous season was not a fluke. Brendan Rodgers’ team will fight once again for a Top 4 place and return to the Champions League.

In their previous game Leicester hosted Burnley at the King Power and scored a 4-2 win. Burnley’s Erik Pieters scored himself an own goal while Barnes, Justin and Praet found the net for Leicester. It was a fine performance by the Foxes.

That’s our preview for the Premier League game between Manchester City and Leicester City on Sunday. Both teams started their 2020/21 season with wins, but now they have a tough test ahead of them. This is a derby we can’t wait to sit and watch, what about you?
